Hi, my name is Krista, and I'm your friendly guide to helping you with the RISING rules and surviving the zombie apocolypse.
First, a brief discription of the game:
You are actually apart of the game, you are NOT doing the following:
rolling dice
drawing cards
sitting around a table
playing a board game
playing paint ball
not touching the actors so the actors don't touch you
NOTHING
You will be participating in the following:
Bandaging people to show you are "first aiding" them "in-game"
Boffer combat (foam swords and foam dart blasters) to kill zombies
Boffer combat to be killed by zombies
Mind-challenging puzzles while zombies are trying to kill you
Creating "anti-virus"
Salvaging parts to make more "ammo"
"Killing" the actors before they "kill" you
The storyline of the RISING
- YOU can determine the outcome
On average, as a zombie survivor myself, I would say usually about 2 people survive an event. That means keep on your toes! Or, don't be afraid to use people as meat shields I suppose. Whichever way you roll.

Tips to surviving the zombie apocolypse:
Wear layers! Denium, leather, and makeshift armor can be counted as bonus armor, and armor is KEY! (Doesn't count for chainmail) You can also get 2 points per Zombie Buddy Productions' shirt that you wear, because I guess it's made especially for zombie attacks!
Don't try to kill all the zombies if it isn't necessary - there will ALWAYS be more than you, especially if you're OUTSIDE!
Searching a zombie can be a good thing; maybe he has a key to the locked door, or extra ammo on him.
Use your BRAIN! Or the zombies will for you. A lot of things in RISING aren't always obvious. Try looking around, or thinking: "Why is there a glowy dot above the doorway?"
Try to work together, having a doctor and an engineer all the way through the game is never a bad thing. But, we don't discourage Player vs Player combat.
Anti-virus is LIFE! If you are infected but finish the event, you will still DIE if you don't obtain and have an antivirus administered to you.
Last but not least, if you want to do something, then do it. A staff member will always be on-hand to let you know/see what happens.
